Meet The Face Behind Rainbow Academy Learning & Child Care Center
I’m Jiang Yi, the proud owner of Rainbow Academy Learning & Child Care Center.
I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.
I was always passionate about children and interested in their pure hearts and souls. My encounter with children began in 2000, when I worked as a kindergarten teacher in China for five years. Then from 2005 to 2012, I opened my own Childcare center, which had about three-hundred children between the age group of two to six years. I truly enjoyed this career and vowed to dedicate my life to embracing the world of children.
When my family moved to Canada, my enthusiasm drove me to this field and to set up a business of my own. This was something I longed for with all my heart, and so in 2017, I started Rainbow Academy Learning & Child Care Center.
In the beginning, the business didn’t have the best reputation in the area. However, with new management, some changes in the center, and our hardworking staff, I can safely say that the business is now thriving.
What separates me from most others is that I am accountable, responsible, and respectful of each individual, including children and employees. It is also my determination, positive attitude, and behavior towards children that have earned me praise.
I feel passionate about children, their families, and the environment around them. I believe that having a positive, caring, and respectful relationship with children and their families is the foundation for optimal learning, development, health, and well-being of children. Also, I have a motivated attitude to learn each child’s diverse social, cultural habits, interests and needs, and parents’ expectations. I am even enthusiastic about collaborating and work with families and class educators to ensure children’s best outcomes in all aspects of development.
One of the most fulfilling parts of my job is when I go to the classroom each day, children come to hug, talk, share their little stories, and sometimes they complain about other kids. This makes me realize the importance of my role.
Providing parents with Childcare service and ensuring they are satisfied and have a peaceful mind when their children are in the Childcare center is of utmost importance to me. So when I hear the words “thank you” from parents or receive positive comments from my local community, I feel a sense of pride and joy. Other rewarding moments are when I see children all grown up, and when I notice employees are happy to work in the center.
When I am not running my business, I like working out and playing sports with my children.
I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.
